My Graphical User Interface is blank
 

I am bran new to Linux, any to get to the point I installed Fedora Core 5 on my PS3 so I could run more applications on it any way i just spent all night installing it, and I loged in and typed "startx" to get the desktop working and all I got was a blank blue screen with my mouse. Can someone help ?

Solution to Startx problem
 

Check to make sure that whether /etc/X11/xorg.conf file is present or not. This file is read before starting the X or GUI session.
your GUI session could not work properly if /home or /tmp directory is full or due to missing or corruption of xorg.conf file.
The only solution to this is run the command system-config-display as a root. This command will make or correct ur /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. Possibly this may work.
