My floppies flippin!!!!!!!!
 

Is their a certain command that can be entered at a shell prompt that would allow me to save info to my fdd. Currently whenever I use any open office.org program I cant get it to save to the fdd. I make sure that my fdd is mounted and has a blank disk. I click the save icon with the disk on it and the file panel dissapears like it actually saved the project but when I check the disk its blank. I use fedora core one.

Are you sure the write-protect tab is opened? Does /mnt/floppy have the appropriate permissions to allow regular users to write to it? Are there any error messages that are generated? -- J.W.
