Talking My First Time

I know absolutely nothing about Linux but I'm about to purchase a server that comes with Linux OS. So, what does a Windows-soon-to-be Linux person need to know?

read all the stickies here, freenode on IRC is your friend, google.com/linux DOES exist and is the place to go BEFORE here, stick with it, there is a rather steep learning curve if you don't depend on the GUI (a good thing though).

The Linux Newbie Administrator guide is excellent for new Linux users - there's tons of good info at a pleasant level.
