Angry My boot record is gone!

Hi, there.

I've got a dual boot (win98, RH9) in a 20Gb disk. For instance, I gave 5gb for win98 and the remaining 15gb for Shrike.

Recently, I've formatted the win98 partition, and reinstalled win98 on it. Now, GRUB is gone and windows is booting itself everytime I turn on my PC.
Looking at My Computer -> C Drive, it appears that I have 5Gb...

I could boot it on another linux distro CD and sort things out with GNU fdisk, but acctualy this is not what I want to do.

How can I have GRUB back?

Use your bootdisk(you did create a bootdisk right?) and boot into linux. Then run:

grub-install

to let the real OS take over the boot loader again.

You should be able to boot from your RH9 install CD. I'm sure I read about an option to enter a rescue mode from it...
