How is it not working????
Are you gettin server errors (500)?
Is it trying to download the file??
Or is it just not parsing the data?
A little more information would be nice
Though your problem maybe, when submitting the data from a html form eg
<form>
<input type= text name = blah>
</form>
and say the php script is foo.php, you need to read the variables in from the form in such a way as this.
$variable = $_REQUEST['blah'];
of course if you have all this corectly just submit what the errors are and i'll try and help you

heh crux is fun,
once you get it to run, its rather a complicated install, but if you follow the installation guide its a piece of cake, there is not much default software which is nice as you can build it all to your needs, unline slack rh mandrake etc, where they just stcik on loads of stuff you dont need,
all in all if you have a spare day or two its a nice distro once, you configured it all
