mutt on Debian Sarge

Just created a new Debian Sarge box. I'm having a problem where I go into mutt and it says:
/var/mail/joebloggs: No such file or directory (errno = 2)
There is no mailbox - can someone show me how to create one. i thought it was just a text file, but maybe not.

Thanks in advance.

This file is created when you receive first email for that user. As long as you get that message, it means that you haven't received any e-mail.

I take it you haven't used Mutt before. It does require a bit of setup. There is a site useful for helping with generating the setup file: Muttrc builder.
