Hey guys,
I have recently started using mutt to check my mail. I Was using Pine before and to tell the truth i am pretty impressed with all the choices offered by mutt.
I have been able to setup everything just the way i want it. However there is one small and really irritating probem I am facing.
When i open my IMAP e-mail account(I have two) and read a new mail, it for some odd reason is not marked as read. I know this because the little penguin in gkrellm mail checker keeps on jumping. This did not happen with pine.
I have included the two variables:

set timeout=15
This does not help(though i thought it should have).
Could someone please please help me with this. I would really love to have mutt work perfect to my expectations.
