Music creation?

I was wondering, what are the preferred tools for making music on linux boxes? So far, I've seen packages like Rosegarden, Ardour, Hydrogen, Freebirth, and so on But I haven't found anything which is very good or complete.

I'm normally used to working with FruityLoops (Or FLStudio) on Win32, is there any program that can be a reasonable OpenSource replacement to FL?

Since Fruity Loops essentially is a point-and-click tracker I suggest you try out other trackers, like Skale. linux-sound.org has a list of music software that may be useful too.
