Distorted text in Firefox

Hi!

(cdrecord problem solved, logged in as root instead of using sudo)

Firefox seems to be having trouble rendering certain fonts. Example:

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I'm running Debian Unstable Sid with a custom 2.6.9-kernel from november 15th. The entire system was updated today. Truetype fonts are installed.

Thank you.

Have you tried altering the font sizes, and also seeing which fonts, Firefox is using. Maybe its just using a bad font for a certain style?
