multiplexed download targets in rtorrent

i would like to know any routines that work in rtorrent to select single files (such as the latest edition of a nice postresql book) from a .torrent file that has many files (such as "obscene_number_of_linux_books.torrent") TIA

Main view: choose the torrent (with arrow keys Up and Down) press arrow key Right.
next view: choose "File List" and press arrow key Right.
In the File List use arrow keys Up and Down to select the files needed. With the space bar choose a priority setting (shown in the column "Pri") for a file: normal (shows nothing), don't download (off) or high priority (hig).

This is the routine I use.

rTorrent allocates space also for for files it do not download.
