Multiple versions of xorg-x11-Mesa-libGLU
I am running FC4. I have attempted to do an apt-get update (to check that I have the latest versions of some software), but I get a message

W: There are multiple versions of "xorg-x11-Mesa-libGLU" in your system.

This package won't be cleanly updated, unless you leave
only one version. To leave multiple versions installed,
you may remove that warning by setting the following
option in your configuration file:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated { "^xorg-x11-Mesa-libGLU$"; };

To disable these warnings completely set:

W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
Now, I have no problem understanding that somehow I got 2 or more copies of some software. What I don't know is how to get rid of the old versions and/or where I would set that option. (I suspect that cleaning out the old version of xorg... would be the nicer option.)

Tha't the problem with being a newbie ... So many questions.
