multiple versions of memtest86+

Hi,
For some reason I've got 2 instances of memtest86+

I can't seem to be able to remove them.

Code:
bash-3.1# apt-get --reinstall install  memtest86+
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package memtest86+ is a virtual package provided by:
  memtest86+#2.01-1pclos2007 2.01-1pclos2007 [Installed]
  memtest86+#1.65-4pclos2007 1.65-4pclos2007 [Installed]
You should explicitly select one to install.
W: There are multiple versions of "memtest86+" in your system.

This package won't be cleanly updated, unless you leave
only one version. To leave multiple versions installed,
you may remove that warning by setting the following
option in your configuration file:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated { "^memtest86+$"; };

To disable these warnings completely set:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated-Warning "false";

W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
E: Package memtest86+ is a virtual package with multiple good providers.

bash-3.1# apt-get remove memtest86+#1.65-4pclos2007
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  memtest86+#1.65-4pclos2007
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 removed and 1 not upgraded.
Need to get 0B of archives.
After unpacking 130kB disk space will be freed.

the same happens when trying apt-get remove memtest86+*

I also tried rpm
Code:
bash-3.1# rpm -qa | grep memtest
memtest86+-1.65-4pclos2007
memtest86+-2.01-1pclos2007
bash-3.1# rpm -e memtest86+-1.65-4pclos2007

Try with rpm -e --noscripts memtest86+-1.65-4pclos2007
so that the failing scriptlet will be bypassed and the rpm uninstalled
