ok here's my problem, i have gkrellm running right? and gkrellm tells me that there are 2 user, But i am sure there's only one user. so i did ne logical in a konsol i typed who and to my surprise there was a second me log on. so now i have log myself in tty1 then use the su to swith 2 root, then checked my gui (Ctrl + Alt +F7) and saw three user on my gkrellm. So now i just open a konsol and it tells me there are 4 users.

Now the only thing i changed was a sis_driver.o but i deleted the new driver and replaceted with the one i had before still no luck, so here i am now. Can anyone please help on this please

and i am only login in tt1 as user but then use the su command 2 become root, and i am login in the graphical mode

Here is my theory:

otto :0 Aug 21 12:46
I am not sure, but this either has something to do with X or with su

otto vc/1 Aug 21 12:42
This is what you call 'tty1'

otto pts/0 Aug 21 12:46
Your X session

otto pts/1 Aug 21 18:2
Your konsole session

What distro do you have?
