multiple moniters

I'm a big multiple moniter junkie. I'm running three screens with my windows XP box and i use them all the time. Am i able to do that easily with linux as well? Will it just be as simple as plugging in a new vid card and pressing the enable button like in XP?

I'm running SuSE 8.1

Thanks a bunch

using xinerama you can do that, or you can run a seperate desktop on each screen without xinerama (my preferred option) I've no idea how easy it is to configure on suse, i just edit mine by hand, but i dare say yast2 can handle that.
