Multiple concurrent remote desktop sessions?

Hi, I currently have a RHEL 5.4 software development server. A lot of my developers are using windows desktops and they need to run interactive sessions on the server.

I need to support between 4-6 concurrent users on the server. I tried doing this with VNC but I was never able to set that up for more than one user at a time. Can anybody advise on what solution would be the best for this?

VNC can be used my multiple users at the same time. Each user can spawn their own instance of the VNC server that they connect to on a different port, with their own password.

Code:
testuser@system:~$ vncserver

You will require a password to access your desktops.

Password:
Verify:

New 'system:4 (testuser)' desktop is system:4

Creating default startup script /home/testuser/.vnc/xstartup
Starting applications specified in /home/testuser/.vnc/xstartup
Log file is /home/testuser/.vnc/system:4.log
Each user that runs the command gets their own instance of VNC server on their own port at 59XX, (the above user is on instance :4, so their port is 5904).

What was it that didn't work for you?
