Multi-room Multimedia Project

Hello all

Just wondering if anyone has attempted a multi-room system.

I use freevo as an entertainment system for the back of my house and would love to use it as a full functional multi-room system.

My system comprises the following:

Cel 900 CPU
512mb ram
2 x 20gb hdd
ATI Radeon 7000 clone (Using VESA drivers and composite cable output)
Wintv go card
Creative Labs 64 pci
3com nic

This will be a long term project to use a Linux system as a full home entertainment system.

Ideally and this may be laughable, my thoughts are based around the following:

Room 1: Vesa/Composite Output to TV (ATI Card 1)

Room 2: Vesa/Composite Output to TV (ATI Card 2)

This will also require a secondary soundcard and also input device i.e. keyboard.

Anyway this is a long term thing, any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.

Many Thanks

Chris
