mult. terms with different properties/histories?

Typically I run bash shell in an xterm. I would like to make a few versions of this, each with their own commands and histories. Is this possible?

Something like:
xterma - always "2>/dev/null", own command history
xtermb - opens into specific folder, with own command history
xtermc - normal, but with own command history

Also, is it possible to make "2>/dev/null" the default behavior?
