msn problem with ayttm

Hi,
I am unable to connect to msn messenger. I am behind a firewall and connect through a proxy server which supports HTTP requests. The following is the error that I get when I try to connect to msn messenger with ayttm:

Trying to connect ...
<CONNECT loginnet.passport.com:443 HTTP/1.1
Proxy-Authorization: Basic amJghW4trDbopXNoNzEz

>
>HTTP/1.0 200 Connection established
>
sock->sock = 28
entering msn_https_cb1
SSL connect failed (error:00000002:lib(0):func(0):system lib)
SSL_ERROR_WANT_READ
msn.C[2078]:ext_show_error - MSN: Error: Could not connect to MSN HTTPS server (ssl error).
msn.C[789]:eb_msn_logout - Logging out
msn.C[802]:eb_msn_logout - mlad->mc now 0x8276428
msn.C[2831]:eb_msn_get_chat_room - Not found chatroom
msn.C[1905]:ext_unregister_sock - Unregistering sock 27
msn.C[2565]:ext_closing_connection - Closed connection with socket 27
msn.C[1905]:ext_unregister_sock - Unregistering sock 27

Also is there any other IM to connect to msn and yahoo? (other than gaim)
