Hi ,

I have Knoppix 3.3 and Gaim in it is not working cuz it old . so i need a MSN program or a hgher version of Gaim that works on Knoppix 3.3.plz tell me where can i download it . thx.

HD install or live-cd?

Live CD ... it boots directly.

You could try the more recent cd - Knoppix 3.4

So I don't think it's gonna work. You need to install it on the HD in order to install/remove programs, since a CD is read only :)

If you do install to hd, amsn is the best. It's UI is almost identical to MSN Messenger from windows and it even supports display pics. amsn.sourceforge.net. Don't download it as a package file tho, download the installer and then mke the file executable and execute, it is more up to date than the package files.

Actually, I gave out of date info - the most recent is Knoppix 3.6
