I'm running a home network with a linux server (lfs 6.0) running SAMBA etc. and a number of XP workstations of varying power.
I am getting increasingly hacked off with the windoze machines and am looking to migrate to linux throughout. I have some problems with this though!
Whilst I can get around the kids needing Powerpoint and Word by using WINE, I also make use of MS Money 2000 to manage the family finances. What I want to know is whether or not I can get this version of Money on WINE, or if there is a good alternative which is Linux-native. I had a quick look at the GNU-Cash website, but it isn't clear if I can import my existing data.
I personally recommend KMyMoney. Use it both for personal and biz management. I asked a Wine-guru friend and he said that M$ Money has some issues (probably wont work) under Wine.

I actually meant to look into this myself recently as my bank provides MS money format downloads and I've never bothered with any client software before but it looks like GnuCash can import MS Money format: http://www.newsforge.com/comments.pl...2692&cid=66783
