Unhappy Mrtg Rrd Wrong Output

Hello!
I seem to have a situation with my MRTG graph.
I work in a Telco and i use RRD to watch the used channels in tel. lines on a TELES switch.
Although i see on the graph used channels (Max value) up to 80 for example, underneath when it shows the max value of used channels the number is far from whats shown in the graph, about 55. I see that in some channels only, the others give the output exactly like shown in the graph and the configuration is identical on all.
Any ideas why this might happen?
Thank you in advance for any help provided.

Rena
