mplayerplug-in doesn't stream

hi,

I'm using mplayerplug-in-2.70-2.1.fc3.rf in fedora 3 kernel x86_64 on AMd64. When I stream a wm file it kinda shocks its way through the streams from internet (The dvd's are no problem). But it streams quicktime movies all right. When I raise the cachesize in mplayerplug-in.conf, the stream takes some time to start of course, but when the buffer is emptied it starts shocking again. I've searched extensively on the internet, but no one seems to have this problem. Any ideas?
