mplayerplug-in and real playlists..."Getting playlist..."

...um, no it's not. I'm using Debian Sarge with Mozilla 1.7 and Firefox 1.05. About:Plugins on both shows the mplayerplug-in is handling all the MIME types so I think that's OK. I _do_ see that RealPlayer 10 (Helix) is associated with *.rpm files. Is there some sort of conflict maybe? Lock file contention?

Also, where does mplayerplug-in debug output go to? I set debug=2 in /etc/mplayerplug-in.conf and copied it to the home directories per mpp-in doc but don't see a log file or directory in /var/log.

Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated.

Debugging mplayerplug-in has been documented on the mplayerplug-in mailing list. But it does go to standard out. So if you run firefox with the -g option you'll see the debug output in gdb (type run at the gdb prompt to get things started)
