I have a problem were in the bbc website, i wanna stream with realpayer but mplayer always streams for me. Please can anyone tell me how to make realplayer stream the stuff meant for realplayer and mplayer streams the rest.
presumably you have mplayerplug-in installed too, in which case there should be the /etc/mplayerplug-in.conf which you can turn of certain mime types in.
personally i just grab the ram file from the bbc and play it directly in mplayer anyway. even when it does load in embedded mode maplyer still does a great job.
