Is there any way to make mplayer to show the subtitles on the black part under the actual movie? When trying to adjust from the options menu, I only can move it within the movie borders. But what I want is to put it below...
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)
I use mplayer remote on my debian pc I also have installed as wireless router and file server (this way I can watch videos on my desktop screen when I'm in my couch surfing the net on my laptop)
What I normally use is (in an ssh connection):
mplayer somefile.avi -sub somefile.srt -display :0
this works perfect, now I tried:
mplayer somefile.avi -sub somefile.srt -display :0 -vo sdl
and I get the above error message, I would love to get this working to get the subs lower on a widescreen movie (my display is not widescreen). I would also love to get them smaller, but maybe I should ask that somewhere else.
