Mplayer stops playing when I move another window

Debian sid, fluxbox.
When playing a clip with mplayer, If I drag another window mplayer halts and I have to pause and unpause to get the player to continue.
Any suggestions? I really like using mplayer, maybe this is a hint not to watch movies while I'm working?

This will happen in any distro, with any WM.
What is happening, is that you are switching focus from the mplayer window, to the window that you are moving. By default, it will pause for you, assuming that you would like to not miss a moment of your clip......

I'm sure there is a switch do disable this. Find out what it is by visiting the site, or, --h on the command line.

I'm not so sure, I don't think it used to do that. All I used to get was a pause while I adjusted or moved a window. As soon as I finished adjusting it would resume. Now I have to pause and unpause to get it to resume.. Kind of a pita when I'm trying to run a movie in the background, while I'm getting some work done, of course.
