Mplayer sound mixer problem?
 

Running mplayer with alsa on FC3. Video is ok, bu I'm having problem with hearing all the audio tracks (music but no voice) - a mixer problem???

I would appreciate some possible pointers on setting this up correctly.

Solved - Operator Error!
 

I should have guessed that the sound system was ok, the music played ok, and some of my DVDs played without any further configuration. I had to select an 'Audio Language: Dolby Stereo English' in order to get the relevant sound track... operator error!!!

Anyway, for the record, running this version: MPlayer 1.0pre7-RPM-3.4.2 (C) 2000-2005 MPlayer Team on Fedora Core 3 on a Compaq (X1030) laptop with ATI 9000 Radeon graphics, using Xv mplayer driver.
