Mplayer question
I recently installed 'MPlayer v0.90rc4 source' . It works fine but i am wondering how would i uninstall it, if I wanted to?

Usually most source tarballs if you still have the directory you compiled from, you can issue ./configure --uninstall

What if you deleted the directory you compiled it from?

Then you have to go back and delete everything manually. I usually issue a locate command to see where everything is installed and then go in delete everything.

Or you get the tarball, run ./configure as you did before then do a make uninstall.
