mplayer problem

Hey, well I finally got a skin to work with mplayer..sort of. All my movies play fine from command line, but when I run mplayer with the skin nothing will play. I get this unfortunate looking error

open: No such device
vo_mga: Couldn't open /dev/mga_vid
Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.

When I googled it for help I ended up with a load of Spanish sites, which isn't much use. Any ideas where i'm going wrong?

change the video output it is using to xv or x11

I feel so stupid, changed it to X11
Works perfectly

Almost have a perfect Slack system running now
