I compiled mplayer with xv and sdl support, but only "mplayer -vo x11" works for me, others from the output of "mplayer -vo help" give me black screen, sound works fine.
the problem is that mplayer -vo x11 works only in normal mode, when I switch to fullscreen I see just black screen around the video playing.
Xine does the same thing "mplayer -V xshm" works well in normal and in fullscreen mode, but gives black screen with other vo.
I have XFree4.3, radeon 9100 (using radeon driver), dri is installed, in XF86Config I have:
Load "DRI"
Load "glx"
Sorry I'm still newbie and I need help troubleshooting this,
"xdpyinfo" shows 28 extensioms including XVideo. Don't know what type of info u need, if any info is needed please let me know
thanx a lot
mplayer -vo xv
