mplayer plugin controls

I've got streaming media working in Mozilla Firefox via the MPlayer plugin (v1.0), and it works great...unless I want to pause, rewind, or rewatch a stream. The normal keybindings associated with MPlayer simply don't work via the plugin. Has anyone had any luck binding some rudimentary controls to embedded streams?

I know exactly what your saying. I got mplayer in and mplayerplug-in also. They work great! If I watch a video clip through the browser like from CNN or some news channel there's no video control.

I went on the IRC and asked around with no luck. So, beaucoup .. if you have found the answer or find the answer before I do .. could you please post it back??

Thanks!
