Sorry, just didn't know how to elaborate 
It seems when I play any mpegs that I make with my digital camera, they play back at about 50% faster than the way I filmed them, but dvd's are ok.

presumably the way that the file is created in the camera, try specifying the speed manually wit an -fps option, presumably you want 29?
