Mplayer - playback files in a window

Dumb question but I have seached the man pages and still cannot find the awnser.

How do you set mplayer to playback movies in a window instead of defaulting to a full screen layout with a hube black border around it?

You set it in the config file: /home/(username)/.mplayer/config

I think you need the line "zoom=no", but I couldn't swear to it..

You can specify any size in X and Y like this:

mplayer -x 800 -y 600 /your_movie.mpg

Thanks but still no joy. It still plays the movie in full screen mode. It just makes the borders bigger.

I am playing .wmv and .mov files and get alot of interference in the borders which makes watching the movie difficult.
