MPlayer keeps stopping before playing

Right now, I have an .aspx Radio page open, but MPlayer is stalled and it says "Stopped". When I pull up the MPlayer configuration page, the thing that really seems to stick out is that Audio Output is set to OSS when Video Output is not set to any particular setting. Of course, this is way over my head, but I don't think I have done anything to change any pertinent settings. Any ideas?

Perhaps trying to open the file or website to get the exact error message would be helpful.. Did this ever work before? More details get better replies.
