Well, I doubt there's 49. *g* If you get it going successfully, it'll give a status report (mplayer is one of the most verbose *nix apps I've ever seen) about how many titles and chapters and all. But this looks like a device issue. Make sure the symlink is pointing to the actual device and that you have the permissions and so on.
