Mplayer hangs automatically after some intervals while playing any media. I have to seek the media for running again.
I am unable to catch the error as it doesnt log anywhere.
I think it's a library error or someerror with my nvidia card with mplayer.
I am tired of seeking media again and again to watch or listen.
What should I do to check the error and to overcome that ?
Now I checked not only Mplayer but Vlc,xine, smplayer all act like same kind.
I am busted.Everything was smooth some days back.

Try running mplayer with one (or more) -v options (ie: mplayer -v <your other options> <content>). This should show a lot of output including what goes wrong.
