Mplayer error help???
 

hey!!! well i just donwloaded the lastest version of mplayer but everytime i tried to installed everything just like they explain in the home page gave a error saying that

error: Failed dependencies:
mplayer = 0.90rc5 is needed by mplayer-common-0.90rc5-1

However in the guide said that i have to install de mplayer-common first thatn mplayer but i can`t even install anything what should i do???

I've downloaded and compile mplayer w/o troubles.
In the package you have got the README - follow the described steps.
btw: where have you read about mplayer-common installation?

just install them at the SAME time

rpm -Uvh file1.rpm file2.rpm
