Mplayer error
Anybody see this error before
http://alianwar3.tripod.com/error.jpg
(Might have to copy to address bar)
I am getting this mplayer error and it comes up when I am playing divx files and stuff, and I installed this from RPM and even tried compiling source but this comes up anyways.
I have a 2.0GHz with 512MB of ram.
Any ideas?

The link you give doesn't seem to work. Try putting the image on a different server if you can

THe link does work if you copy it and place it in the address bar. I get this error when I play poor quality movies. However, when I play good quality dvix (like the dvd's I encoded w/ mencoder), mplayer works fine. I also get it if I'm running a lot of other programs. I think its mostly broken files though. I don't mind when the message pops up once but sometimes it pops up 3 or 4 times back to back. I'll have to find out if there is a way to stop this message from popping up. It would be better if the movie just jerked a little.

I have to say i get a little confused when people ask for help when you have an error message with no less that 7 suggestions for resolution in it... it's there for a reason!

The link doesn't work because tripod doesn't support hotlinking. Place the picture in a html page.
For the error message. Specify -autosync 30 in the options.

The reason I posted this acid_kewpie is because I don't know how to apply the solution, so the message is useless. I am using the GUI version of mplayer.
Thanks linux_pioneer, but the other post didn't get in to discussing which files I edit or where I put the suggestions the error message gave me.
