Mplayer DVD A-V sync question
Most of the time when playing NTSC DVDs (ie. Gone in 60 Seconds) in Mplayer, The picture is ahead of the sound, so to rectify that, I have to hit the + button twice to get a decent sync of -200 ms. (according to the OSD) I checked the man mplayer and noticed that there's an option to specify a delay in the audio from the command line. What's biting me every time is that no matter what I specify, the sound is always out of sync.
My command line looks like this: mplayer -dvd 1 -dvd-device /dev/cdrom -alang en -noautosub -delay -0.2 Notice the last peice. Did I do that correctly? The manual doesn't give any examples regarding audio delay. Thanks for any help offered. |
I'd try 2 rather than 0.2 because I would think it would already be in 10th's of a second.
An idea anyway. The mplayer team would be proud you read the manual :D Cool |
