Mplayer audio problem

hi !
My problem is the sound in the Mplayer.
I have downloaded and installed the latest ALSA Drivers,
XMMS works perfectly,
I have turned up the sound in aumix program,

I don't know what to do... when I try to run a movie in Mplayer, the video is perfect, but an error occurs : "alsa-control: mixer attach /dev/mixer error: no such file or directory"

in the preferences of mplayer i've chosen :

video drivers - gl2 - X11 (OpenGL) - multiple textures version
audio drivers - alsa ALSA-0.9.x-1.x audio output

please help me
best regards
nikon
