MP3 support !!!

Hai friends,
I downloaded the xmms-mp3 rpm package and installed it. xmms is now working
fine as like my gmplayer. But, what i hav to do to make my noatun and kaboodle players to play ?

Also the other problem i encountered is :
Iam now developing a glossy theme for KDE. I hav designed in such a way that if u install that theme, by default, some desktop links will appear for new users which includes the device links CDROM and FLOPPY. What I mean is cdrom and floppy shortcuts will appear on the desktop. But if i click the cdrom shortcut, it asks "which program shud i use to open this app ?". I gave as konqueror and it opened. But wat i need is if i click the cdrom shortcut, it must open with konqueror by default. Plz Dont reply me that tick the option "remember app" when it asks for "open with app ?" question and give as konqueror. I want to have the entry that i hav to add in my cdrom.desktop file so that "when i double click the shortcut it must open with konqueror by default". My cdrom.desktop file contents are

[Desktop Action Eject]
Exec=kdeeject %v
Name=Eject

[Desktop Entry]
Actions=Eject
Dev=/dev/cdrom
Encoding=UTF-8
FSType=Default
Icon=cdrom_mount
MountPoint=/mnt/cdrom
ReadOnly=false
Type=FSDevice
UnmountIcon=cdrom_unmount

Can anyone plz help in these things. I wud be very grateful to you people.
