MP3 is not playing, in Rhytam player
 

:confused: Hello friends, iam very new to fedora core linux 6, iam using it first time iam not able to play mp3 songs in any player,

even i have installed the livna-release-6-1.src.rpm, after that iam trying to install the gstreamer plugins but its not getting installed, its trying to connect to internet, i dont have internet connection,

please help me, can any one tell me step by step procedure to play mp3 songs. Please Please

Fedora does not support mp3 out of the box for legal reasons (patents in US). See Fedora documentation for this. You will need to install the required codec support. But first you will need to get the internet working. Maybe upgrade to Fedora 8/Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon? Mp3 will not work out of the box either however for same reason ...
