MP3's
 

Hi, I'm having trouble playing mp3's from my hard drive. I'm using xmms with OSS output and have managed to get mp3's stored on a cdrom to play fine but for some reason the ones on my hard drive wont play at all. Any one have any ideas what it could be?

Have you checked if they have read permissions? This could be the problem....Try a chmod a+r *.mp3
