Mozillafirebird install problem
 

i extractecd mozilla.tar.gz into /usr/local/src/MozillaFirebird
Mozilafirebird readme file not found
Installing Mozillafirebird into extracted direcoty
the follwing error message appar.
root@localhost MozillaFirebird]# ./configrue
bash: No such file or directory
root@localhost MozillaFirebird]# make install
make: No rule to make target install. stop
root@localhost MozillaFirebird]#install
install : command not found

Seems there is some problem with the tarball here.
Are you aware that Firebird is a Beta Release for Mozilla.Better get 1.3 version from http://mozilla.org. Works seamlessly, although is a memory hog

i download a mozillafirebird0.6..........

There is no ./configure'ing or make'ing or make install'ing required. Simply untar it to /usr/local/src and run it by doing:

/usr/local/src/MozillaFirebird/MozillaFirebird
