Mozilla with XML and Javascript

If you visit http://www.microsoft.com/vstudio using internet explorer you will find a little menu that pops up from the left hand side grey bar.

If you try the same using mozilla 1.1 under redhat 8.0, the menu doesnt appear.

The menu system is just a mix of CSS, XML and Javascript files. I have installed the sun java sdk and from what i can gather xml and javascript should both work fine under mozilla. Anybody got any ideas why it wont work in mozilla?

Im also curious as to if the menu works fine using any other browser such as opera.

Thanks for any insight.

I can safely say it's a MS thing. What do you think? They have their own browser and they support the rival's? It only works on IE for me.

Also, you might want to take a look at their HTML code. JavaScript in particular that detects what browser you're using. May not even in JavaScript, again since they have their own languages like VBScript, ASP, etc. If it's a server-side script, you would never see the code since it loads the next page so fast.
