Mozilla vs. Netscape

I have both installed and I'm trying to decide which one to keep. Is there actually a difference between the two identical browsers?

Yes:
- Pop-up blocking is better implemented on Mozilla ( AOL lives from ads, and NS "belonged" to AOL)

- AIM, etc... is not installed on Mozilla, so if you want a browser only, go for it.

Consider this: When a Mozilla release is almost ready, it is taken by NS developers and customized to fit their "commercial" principles, so I guess Mozilla has less possibility to become unstable.
If you are not using Composer, mail and /or debuggers, go for Firebird instead of Mozilla. It works "better" than mozilla.

In agreement with pablob here. If you anyway need a composer/mail client, Mozilla/Netscape's one are way to heavy. Use sylpheed or thunderbird (a new composer from Mozilla) instead. IMHO, Mozilla Firebird and Sylpheed is a powerful and fast combo...

Netscape and mozilla both have pop up blockers. Although the pop up blocker seems to stop working whenever I go to a site owned by AOL. hmmm
