mozilla problems

hi peeps. i have just upgraded to mozilla 1.4b and i am having some problems....

1) how do i add shortcuts to the K menu...
2)i put a desktop shortcut to mozilla, but when i click it , it always asks if i want to, display, run in terminal, run. how do i make it so it just runs?
3)how do i launch each of the mozilla components individually?

thanks people

you need to specify where the executable for the new mozilla is, so click on properties on your icon and then execute and then browse to (usually) /usr/local/mozilla/mozilla where the file resides. That should run it fine.

yeh, but it was removed from the k menu when i uninstalled the version that was already there..

oh ok, i see what u mean, well you can create an icon for your desktop very easily by right clicking and then picking create new link to application, that will give you a small window where you can browse to where the icons are (/usr/local/mozilla/icons i think) and then you can put in your execute statement there as well.
In terms of adding an icon to the k menu, you can right click on the kicker and then select menu editor and go from there, you will need to browse to where the new mozilla icons are stored as I said earlier though. Also, while you are in there you can create a shortcut key which would be even handier (I use them all the time) by clicking on the 'none' box at the bottom when you are adding that application in the menu editor. Then you can pick the two keys you want to combine to launch Mozilla. I use the windows key (usually between ctrl and alt) and then 'm'. Try not to use the ctrl key cuz it is usually reserved for other functions.
Hopefully that answers your questions.
