mozilla plugins

I installed my mozplugger plugin as root and it works great with root. I installed the mplayer plugin with my user account and its the only plugin that seems to work on that account. I checked the permissions on the plugins and I have persmission to read them. When I go to help and "about plugins" I can see the mozplugger plugin enabled. I'm trying to figure out why it doesn't work when I logon w/ my user account.
