mozilla not browsing ftp sites

When I try and access an ftp site, mozilla tries to download it, instead of browsing to the files.

It will even try and download directories, whereas I would prefer to browse the files in them and then download the ones I want.

Is there a setting or something I need to do to enable this?
Oh, and I'm embarrassed to admit that this is on a windows machine.
