mozilla hangs my computer
 

from versions 0.9.9.7 to 1rc3, using mozilla has been a pain. altho i find the browser very nice to use and is pleasing to the eye, after a while of using it however(say 0.5 hour on average), my entire computer crashes. i can't even type anything on the keyboard or move the mouse. the screen hangs and there is a continuous beeping sound coming from the cpu. i have tried looking at other possiblities (eg. the cpu, the fans, tried troubleshooting if it is some other hardware or applications i use...) but it seems that mozilla is the culprit.

anyone has similar problems?

All my Mozillas (1rc3 now) work without a problem. And it's usual to run them 6 hours or something...
